| Was kind of hoping that there might be a tiny chance that this thread might of been steared into a good honest discussion about rugby and our club's apparent improvement in the field of youth development and the role Squadbuilder might have played in that.
Unsuprisingly it has descended into knob measuring with Wigan and an extension of Facebook involving the texting generation.
With the intent of luring some old-time lurkers out of the shadows can people confirm if they are members of Squadbuilder or the Supporters' Trust.
If members of Squadbuilder do you feel that your "investment" is now paying off or would you rather funds distributed in an alternative manner?
If not a member do you know what Squadbuilder is about and do you think it still relevant in the era of modern stadium, profits and silverware for the club?

I'm a member of squadbuilder but can't always attend the meetings because of other commitments. I think it is a great way of supporting the young players.

I remember from a SqB meeting last year that the emphasis was being turned from funding individual players to more of a team function.
Looking at the squad, it's pretty hard to see anything other than youth development policy and Sqb involvement as a raging success. Any news on forthcoming meeting schedules, Roy/SEB? Been a while.
To the younger contingent who clog up this forum nowadays - have you heard of SquadBuilder? Spend a wee bit of your time checking out what it is about.

Is he still involved in football? Was at Wrexham with Brian Flynn last time I heard.

| I am in although admittedly I've been awful at attending any sort of meeting over the last 12 months. If I did New Years Resolutions, I'd make going to more one of them.
Squadbuilder plays a vital role in developing young players and one that is appreciated by the club and the players involved massively. SB players already play a significant role in the first team and, if reports are to be believed, 2011 is set to see the emergence of several others with Messers Evans, Evans, Williams and hopefully Shaw somewhere near the front of the queue.
Apart from the above, it's also an opportunity for supporters to get closer to the club and, more specifically, the players. When people get frustrated about tickets, shirts, beer queues etc it is easy to forget sometimes that the players are what this stuff is all about really.
