| Quote: wearethewire "i do actually find all this 911 conspiracy theory stuff quite interesting'"
Read a book called 'The New Pearl Harbour' by David Ray Griffin. It isn't about conspiracy theories, its very fact based and asks alot of questions of the US Government. It makes very scarey reading and really hits home that 9/11 was known about a long time before it happened by the Bush administration. When you read the facts you'll sit and seriously think about who the good guys are, and who the bad ones are.

Wire exiled in Hampshire: |
|
| Quote: wearethewire "Hitler strived at the helm of the nazi party because of the great depression, germany were already in the dire straits after the first world war but then the wall street crash worsened the situation. People were turning to radical views at times where radical thing needed to happen. He told them everything they wanted to hear like how Germany had the right to have an army and that they were superior to others. He got votes because the reichstag was made up from ex-WW1 commanders, they had already failed in Germany's eyes at the war and now they were trying to run a country.'"
That's near-as-damn-it a perfect summary.
The only bit is about the WW1 commanders, and involves a different conspiracy theory.
At the end of the war, Hindenburg and Ludendorff knew that the game was up, so they voluntarily reliniquished power to the civilian politicians.
The civillians then signed the peace treaty, which was a pretty brutal treaty by anyone's standards (Marshal Foch called it a 'twenty year armistice'). The civillians got all the grief, and the main signatory Mathias Erzberger ended up murdered.
The WW1 commanders sat back and let their underlings and sympathisers spread the 'Dolchstosslegende' (stab-in-the-back legend), which suggested that the German army had not been beaten, but had been betrayed by the civillians. That helped Hitler and other extremists.
So, there was a conspiracy theory, just not the one everyone thinks!

| yeah Germany had no way of actually winning the war and Hilter insisted tht they could have carried on and the country was stabbed in the back by the people who signed the treaty of versailles. This was the newly formed Weimar Government, it was the major flaws in the organisation of this that allowed him to gain so much power. For example the whole proportional representation thing, no one could agree in the reichstag so no laws could be passed. The president just passed them without consulting the parliment ( because he could), it defeated the object of it. The biggest flaw though in the Weimar was article 48, the president could take full power if public unrest broke out, this was decided by him. Hitler had his army set fire to the reichstag so he would say to hindenburg this was the first step of the communists so article 48 could be brought into play.

It was indeed. And Hitler wasn't even the first one to invoke it- the Social Democrat coalition did it in around 1928, as I recall.
The irony is, the country that looked the most likely to be taken over by fascists at that time was France.

You're right, it wasn't a conspiracy- but they rose to power partly because they claimed to have found a different conspiracy.

| Ah right, get you now. Very interesting period of history for Europe - 1900 to 1939.

| I can understand why the Nazis rose to power. When we went through the recent recession all of the tabloids and various politicians explained it as due to mass immigration and immigrants taking our jobs, homes and resources. Even some of the Labour politicians now say they "understand working class concerns over immigrants"
The Germans were being fed the same sort of propaganda back then that the depression was due to the jews draining their money and resources, so maybe the Nazis just "understood working class concerns over Jews"

| Does anybody else think that the jewish state of israel is employing the same tactics the nazi's once used against the palestinians now? Im not talking death camps etc, more social segregation, creating ghettos, and creating laws to keep the palestinians under boot.

You must be joking surely? Do you have quotes from senior politicians, to back up your statement, explaining the recession being due to mass imigration and it's effects? They will more likely blame the banks than raise the issue of the elephant in the room.
As for "drain on resources" I think it is well accepted by many that if HM Government, rightly or wrongly, grant asylum (immigration) to a HIV/AIDs suffering Eritrean female national that this will cause an additional drain on our NHS resources more than if asylum (immigration) was not granted in that specific case. That isn't propaganda, that is simple economics.

How the Zionists use the affairs in Europe during 1930-1947 and their continuing power in the US to further their long term ambitions in the Middle East could fill an entire forum.
Most, if not all, of the instability of the Middle East is caused by the mass implantation of Jews into Palestine. The Israelis have ignored scores of UN resolutions and continue to persecute/murder Palestinians to this day. I seem to recall Iraq ignored a few resolutions and the US went to war. Makes you think.
You can read about Israel ignoring the UN here. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Un ... ing_Israel
Whilst we are at it what happened to the scandal where MOSSAD used British passports to attempt to cover up their murder of Hamas leader Mahmoud al-Mabhouh in Dubai in January?

| One of the most outrageous conspiracy theories i ever heard was that the water company's are putting drugs in the tap supply to keep the nation subdued after the the riots of the 80's. must admit im quite gullible and even i struggled with that one.
