That's pretty much it. I don't for one minute think anyone has forgotten the Cup win or the effort over the season, but to put two poor performances in when it really matters hurts, both as fans, and i would hope the players are hurting over it too. I don't hold with the players look shattered business - Wigan turned it around last night quite comfortably after the heartbreak of last weekend. We turned it on 40 minutes too late tonight.

The players getting boooed at half time was shocking.


When Smith took over we were rock bottom lost our 1st 5 games and we didnt even think we would get to Wembley. But going to to Wembley to defend our trophy against the champions Leeds was great. We manage to defend the cup for the 1st time in the clubs history. And finishing in the top 4 where we get to chances was a bonus. So i dont see why people should booo, i think we have had a excellent season.

one question. how does booing your team off at half time help anything? absolutely shocked and embarrassed tonight from fans to the players i could only apologise for our fickle fans. no team however bad the performance shouldn't get booed off. could've got behind the team and supported them one thing i can say to these so called fans f*ck off

I think Tony's after game interview said it all, he didn't seem too phased by the loss and why should he or the team be, reflected on the achievements, and to be fair I think he was quite happy to bow out at this stage, relish your success, look to next season, mission acomplished this year without being greedy, onwards and upwards, "much want's more" as the saying goes, and I think you are going to get it, roll on 2011.

No need for this tbh. As a Wigan fan, Warrington were the one team I was fearing the most, you shown in the CC final you could blow teams away as I expected this in the playoffs. Ok you havent won tonight but you have progressed as a team this year and had your best ever finish as a SL team. You have also retained the CC. Unlucky but your fans can be mighty proud and good luck in the future

what was the turnover count how many times did we knock on gifting them possesion how many times did we pass the ball to the opposition....a stats man eh....?

simple fact is they did struggle to make yards with their forwards but they did have brough kicking well, but it doesnt hide the fact we were beaten for the 2nd week on the bounce by the simplest and most basic of rugby League, 5 drives or (4 on occasions) and a punt down field

what was riding on the Hull kr game was it a season ends here game..were we down 0- 23 at half time in that game

fans booing a team off after a bad performance is natural at half time we were losing 23-0 to a team we put 60 point on in the begining of the season so everyone had the right to boo im not some fickle fan as ive had 11 years straight with a season ticket but i think booing them will give them a slap in the face and tell them to book up.

when they get into the changing rooms smith isnt gonna just say oh well weve had a good year go out and lose, he's gonna go ape and i bet he did and thats why the team had something about them in the second half

these 'boo boys' are probably new fans who have latched on since our new found success, i doubt fans who have seen them play a lot worse would be booing after such a successful season. And the ones who did should have known better
