I wonder how this works with the salary cap? I thought players registered part year have the salary counted for the full year. Perhaps Saints, despite Chief Executive etc stating different have not been spending the full cap?

I'd take the words of Frank Cannon (Shaun McCrea sp) with a huge pinch of salt.
He'd be better of dealing with Salford's many problems, rather than talking about Warrington's inability to beat a team he coached over a decade ago.

He did and he made sure we knew it as well. Surprised he was up for a return, particularly as he's doing it for free, Radlinski-stylee

But he's not been picked. Strange thing, unless we are getting to the stage where we wouldn't have 17 fit players. I know a lot of the kids regarded as squad players are injured.

He was just fine in 2007 and is a fantastic kicker when on form, both in field and goal. He isn't flashy like Eastmond but he's a good organiser and he has a cool head, both of which we will need. When we have had no halfbacks on the pitch but had to rely upon Wilkin and Moore we have not only looked completely without direction but we've lost.
