Thats the risk of having tickets available on sale for a year before the final. Tickets for next year will be probably on sale from next week.

Plus its the one of the things I like about the game is the lack of segregation. It should be remembered, incidents like this are extreamly rare in rugby league.

Hopefully the remainder of the season will pass without major incident.

If i was to list the ammount of alcohol i drank yesterday we'd be here all week, i had my first gin&tonic by 0730am, not once did i misbehave, alcohol is not the problem, people are dicks before they have a drink, if they were sober they'd still fight.

Fair point. Segregation would stop these fights, apart from the odd idiots who think it's a good diea to fight amongst themselves with the same colours.

Don't worry they aren't going to ban beer any time soon, it makes too much money when you can sell it at the prices they sell it at sporting games. If they banned selling beer at grounds then people would just drink more before they came so you may as well take the punters money if they are going to drink anyway.

If there's a few idiots here and there it doesn't really cause a problem for the organisers, yes it gives everybody on messageboards something to talk about but it's simple, if somebody commits a crime, then it's a matter for the police to sort out. They have CCTV everywhere, you can't walk without Big Brother watching you, and you can't order a ticket for Wembley without Big Brother knowing Who You Are And Where You Live, so when people go swinging punches in front of CCTV at a rugby league game they aren't doing a good job at covering up their crime.

I was sat in block 505... Sat with my ten year old son.. some of the wire fans are total scum. One bloke sat behind us was drunk spilling his ale over the man sat next to me and chatting absolute rollox all the way through the match.. shouting come on its a final cheer em on... you know the sort!. He ended up haveing abit of a pushing contest with an old guy sat behind him who had had enough of him standing up.

Another two blokes sat infront of us were smokeing like no tomorrow.. i dont actualy mind smokeing but not nice when kids are about...

About two seats down to the right of us a fight broke out between a muscle, tattood thug and a large bloke sat with his son. the large bloke lunged forward going down about 4 seats down and takeing the thug with him..it must of took out people sat below them. the large blokes son was crying.

I kinda just made a joke out of it with my lad and we stood there laughing at them. we were to over joyed with the result and nothing was gonna spoil our day ... but its not good realy is it!!!

I drank my self stupid yesterday.The last thing on my my mind was fighting.I enjoyed the banter, the game and in a drunk sort of way,paying £4.30 for a pint.Whilst laughing, thinking robbing bar stewards.Everyone handles the ale in different ways,some think they are jonny ten men, others wanna hug you and most fall asleep and p!ss themsleves.Lets not look back on this final as the one which got spoilt by small mined morons who have a Stella and think they are Billy Big Spuds.This final is one which will be remembered. Let's face it. We shouldn't be discussing this on here because I'd hope the people who use these boards are all one and the same. True fans. Voilence at games is frowned upon by us all, whether it's your own supporters or the oppositions, we all want them out.

Affected fans should write to the RFL.

The back half of our coach was a bunch of morons who had come together. Most of them were hammered by halfway to London and were generally very loud and obnoxious. They managed to break the toilet after an hour or so of the journey and spent the rest of the time abusing the driver because he wouldn't/couldn't fix it.

On the way home they were chanting and blowing one of those awful horns really loudly, then hurling abuse at the rest of us (the front half of the bus) for not joining in, even threatening us for not standing up when they started on "stand up if you love Wire". They banged on the windows and shouted at Leeds fans we passed leaving Wembley. This lasted the whole way home, absolute ar$eholes who were intent on being obnoxious and aggressive, no matter which fans it was aimed at. The downside to becoming sucessful is some people think it's a license to behave however they'd like.

Sounds like the journey from hell. This wasn't a club coach was it?

Now I wasn't there so can't possibly commentate, but what is certain is that you were not simultaneously in all the same places at all the same times as the op.

So how can you possibly state categorically that he is lying? For me too many people from too many different areas are all reporting similar worrying scenes for this not to be largely true. Coffee smelling time for some, I think.

And I'm also guessing that a lot of folk will in fact have made reports to the RFL and the other bodies you mention. So that's all right then, at least.
