| With regards to the trouble in the right hand corner of the Warrington end ( block 109 ) can I say that the Leeds "supporters" in that block ( approx rows 4 to 12 ) were an absolute disgrace. They were mostly in their 20s but ranged up to I'd guess 40 years old
I was sat approx 5 rows right behind them.
Can I thank them for showering my 68 year old parents with beer on at least 3 occasions ( along with their friend who came to his first game of rugby for 30 years ).
Can I thank them for offering my 68 year old dad out for a fight after he complained about the first of the beer showers.
Can I thank them for offering to fight a group of teenagers ( 13/14 year olds ) further a log the rows from them for having the temerity to applaud Warrington when they scored.
Can I thank them for the obscene gestures that we were subjected to from before the kick off until the time they actually decided that they had all had enough to drink and would mow like to start fighting with 10 minutes to go.
Can i thank them for hitting my wife with a plastic cup of beer
Can i thank them also for hitting the little girl about 5 rows above me in the face with a plastic cup of beer.
Can I thank them for reducing children around me to tears due to fear.
But can i also thank the moronic Warrington fans who rose to the bait thus ensuring a fight finally ensued.
A great day ruined. At the final hooter I didnt actually know the score because people were trying to calm everybody down.
To any Leeds fans sat down in this corner who obviously were not involved in this incident I apologise unreservedly for tarring you with the same brush as these morons. We had great banter with genuine Leeds supporters all day.
But to the group of Leeds "supporters" who instigated all the trouble.
You managed to spoil a great day out for hundreds of people. My wife will not attend another match if there is a chance that away fans could be mingled in with home fans ( ie Grand Final ). So thanks for that.
I do not want this brushed under the carpet or ignored because we won. I want the CC footage examined and I want to see the main instigators charged ( including the WArrington fans if necessary ). I want to see the people hurling the plastic pots filled with beer at people charged with assault. Any chance. NO.
Another solution ??

I had a group of Wire fans behind me and son and a couple of my sons mates.
From the first whistle till the last, my back was showered in Lager. Did I turn around and cause a bit of biff? Nah
Firstly, I was exremely hot so it was nice to cooled down.
Secondly, I would be constantly apologising to the fans in front of me for the pint I`ve kicked over, but blamed on my son.

A sad day mate, but do yourself a favour and report it to somebody who can do something about it if you haven't already. I'm sorry that you couldn't enjoy another great day in Warrington history. Let's get these lads banned, unfortunately these incidents are becoming more and more common at big RL events.

| Quote: Paul2812 "There was quite alot of Leeds fans in the lower tier Wire end. Near to us their was a group of women from Leeds who were a credit to their club and the game. They congratulated all the Wire fans around them at the end of the game and didn't rise to the bait of a drunken tool-pipe who sat next to me who constantly taunted and abused them. He was that bad another Wire fan went and complained to the Stewards about his language & behaviour (they did nothing of course). For the first time in years I was embarrassed to be a Warrington fan.'"
Lol we got the opposite in our section: A group of Leeds women on a hen night trip by all appearances, knocking back the beer like it was nobodys business and heckling about how w*nky we were despite being sat in our end. Suffice to say they were deadly silent by half time

The disturbance in block 511 was "Wire on Wire"! Around two dozen men and women involved and no sign of any Leeds fans. These people weren't particularly young, but were obviously heavily under the influence of alcohol. Absolutely pathetic and spolit the end of a great game for many in the vicinity.
Surely the actions of these people have been caught on CCTV and can be identified through seat numbers. In my opinion, life time bans from all RL events is the minimum sanction that can be applied. There is no place in our game for this type of behaviour.

| I was sat in the front of block 114 in the opposite corner to where it all kicked off, i have to say there were a LOT of leeds fans near me, but they were all superb, most left around the end of the game, but there were one or two that stayed till the team came round with the cup and were congratulating us and my dad and I had a lovely chat with a couple of leeds fans, wished them well and a safe trip home. For me, thats what rugby league fans are about, its a shame that there was some trouble, but as said in previous posts, its the minority not the majority and lets hope these idiots get stamped out before we turn out like the football brigade!nothing but respect from me for the leeds fans in my section.

| Block 511 was Wire on Wire, and I was embarrassed to be sat anywhere near them. From what I could see, it started with a 'woman' kicking off, which was promptly followed by people cheering and hurling punches at the nearest person to them, despite having nothing to do with the original scuffle.
All this took place during the final three minutes. Those involved were notreal fans, and deserve to be named and shamed. How anyone can put having a fight before seeing Moz lift the cup is completely beyond me. After watching the match back, I'm glad to say that none of the fighting could be seen on the BBC. rugby league is a family sport and it should stay that way.

| I was on the top fow of block 111 so was a little late in seeing what kicked it off in the corner but i can tell you i saw some leeds fans and oddly enough a random hull fan getting stuck in to our lot to. The stewards were throwing a few from what i could see too.
There was a bit of wire on wire kickng off a few rows in front of me though, some lads in banana suits had some woman jumping over seats to belt them. No idea what happened there but her husband was wandering off and she literally jumped three rows and started belting this banana. Surreal.
Thats one thing i hate about gobby women, im sure something provoked it but they wasnt going to hit her back, so the husbands stood looking at 10 angry lads. Silly cow.

| As a Wildcats fan (someone has to be!) I have to say Warrington played Leeds off the pitch, Warrington deserved to win, brilliant performance, wonderful day but marred a little by the alcohol fueled disturbance 10 minutes from the end. As a RL supporter since the early 70's I have never seen behaviour like it at Wembley and those who created it should be ashamed of themselves and yes should be found and banned.
However, lets not take it away from Warrington, WELL DONE brilliant performance and Lee Briers was awesome !
