| I'm not into the Union Jack personally but that's just me, and at least that's in our colours. For those more interested in displaying a banner than flying a flag it makes a reasonable base to print "WARRINGTON RLFC" or whatever you prefer across the middle. Simple but effective.
Either way get on eBay people and let's see some flags flying a week on Sunday!

| I priced up a blue and yellow flag, pretty much the Ukraine flag in reverse, with Warrington in blue on the yellow half, RLFC in yellow on the Blue half. I think it's going to be a purchase for the future, though.
I was thinking of getting an 'old' badge on, too, but can't find the old wolf's head in Wire badge anywhere online to see if it looks good, so it perhaps looks like it'll be the town coat of arms if I do.

| Suppose if you wanted to get something simple, get a Sweden flag......wonder if Ikea would like to "sponsor" the Warrington fans trip to Widnes...lol

| Do we still fly those "No-one likes us we do not care" ensigns. I know they made TANCW very cross. The "Official, Unofficial, Official Supporter's Club" one made SEB annoyed in equal measure. Furthermore I could swear that, this season, I also saw one with the Ulster Red Hand on with a silhouette of a Wolf in each quadrant.
It's a veritable minefield when it comes to flags. In truth, we are all safer with Sally's patent pending "Told you so we are crap" banner with "Wembley 2010 winners" written on the reverse.

| He's got a few...
"Same places same faces (on an England flag)"
"We fear no foe - wherever we go (I like that one again England back ground will the Millwall lion crest on it)"
"Mad Dog"
"You're in my heart"
A few I can remeber.

It sounds like we've got similar tastes as I was thinking of ideas myself and came up with similar. If I do anything it will definitely be with old logos rather than the current badge.
I've got the mid-nineties style "side on" wolf tattooed on my arm and daft as it sounds I gave the design to the tattooist by getting my 1995 away shirt photocopied and upsized. It came out perfect and I've still got the shirt, so if I can't find it anywhere at all online I'll probably do the same again, get someone with a scanner to put it on computer for me then use that. I reckon the wolf in primrose on a plain blue background with "NOW THE WIRE" written either around or below it (depending on what looks best) also in primrose will do the trick.
Too late for next week but definitely one for the future. I shuddered reading 74's post above about the flags "we" display already because he is completely correct and I hate all of them, but rather than just moan on the internet I think it's time a few of us did something better.

| Got to agree DM if everything was perfect I'd also ditch "Wolves" from our names and just keep Warrington RLFC everytime I hear people refer to us as Wolves I cringe, we are Warrington or The Wire. Wolves are a football team in the Midlands.
Re: Flags, I am liking some of your ideas DM. However it would have to be made proper. I saw one on tv from the Catalans highlights. It was like the Ukraine flag with Warrington "written" on it. It looked like an old bedsheet. I'm liking the primrose and blue checkers/union jacks. We could do with one with "In Smith We Trust" on most Football clubs have these and they look very good. I think it would look very good with Cat' profile picture of Smith on it.

Seems like we have similar taste, aye. A bloke I used to play rugby with had a similar sounded tattoo. I've always wanted one similar. The side on head in wire, with 'Warrington' underneath.

Did you go for the one depicted on the crest? I think this is where PC got his idea from. The wolf signifies the county of Cheshire and is derived from the arms of Hugh Lupus the First Earl of Chester. Lupus means Wolf in Latin or in medical terms an autoimmune disease that can affect virtually any system in the body. Think of it as a 'self-allergy' where the body attacks its own cells and tissues, causing inflammation, pain, and possible organ damage.
I think Lupus is a good name for the Wire in either case.

| Yeah that's the one I've got. Just the wolf with yellow and blue stars either side, "WIRE" written under it in yellow and blue Olde English lettering and barbed wire below. Maybe I should make a banner of my arm!
In seriousness I love that badge Yed has posted above (still got that shirt myself too if it's the vertical stripes one I think it is - my first Wire top) and I reckon a plain primrose banner with that crest on the blue shield exactly as depited would also look lovely.
