| Catalans don't have a bad semi final record either [/quothereWIthhere as you my pie licking gimpy friend have. Been looking all over the web, can see you have a play off spot like us but can't see your teams name in the Semi finals. Is this a mistake by the RFL by picking on you for having been so famous? Go home pie licker

I am in the South of France and the temperature in the UK has been nowhere near the temperatures here. It is 36C at 10.30am and only drops to 28C to 30C at night with the humidity also up to 93%. It is very oppressive and fatiguing if you are not used to it which I doubt very much any of the Wolves players are as it is proven that it takes 10 days to acclimatise.

| No way are we shoe ins for Wembley - I am sure that TS is well aware of this. Yesterday was not given the usual Smith meticulous preparation - the players were given 3 days holiday at the start of the week, plus we pulled Louis, King and Wood. Suspect that TS has bigger things in store for us.
By the way - I am a Spurs fan. We thought that the Portsmouth FA Cup semi was a minor inconvenience en route to meeting Chelsea in the final - we lost to the bottom club

thing is, we know this, and aside from them being slightly more favourable than the other participants in the semi, no one on here has said or assumed it's a given we're at wembley despite what some of your less worthy brethren have delighted in parading to us.
That said there's nothing wrong with a discussion about forward planning and preperation in advance, if there is the rfl and wembley stadium management must be arrogant having already pencilled in and allocated ends at wembley to give potential finalists an idea of where they will be sitting.

| about the CC semi?...
Personally I'm not, Warrington had Wood, Louis and King missing against Catalan, played badly and still only just got turned over. I think it was hard to get first place and second should, hopefully still be ours. The cup semi will be interesting to see how the Catalan's approach it but I am still confident of getting to Wembley.
In Smith we trust.

| Last nights game could have done Wire alot of good. If there were any thoughts of them already being at Wembley, im sure they've all gone now. I reackon you'll beat them in the semi, but it just might be harder than many on here seemed to believe.

| Last night would of been a good lesson for us to see Catalans strengths and weaknesses. I still think we will beat them in the SEMI, as a previous poster said we were terrible defencely and lacked ideas, but still only lost by a point. As Micky Higham as said for the SEMI we're as good as at home, what with 9k being sold already and 100 or less Catalans there. I think we'll beat them. The test for me is, to beat Saints next week, if we beat Saints IMHO that is the sign that we have title winning credentials. After a disappointing loss against Catalans then if we beat Saints after spirits porbabaly being low all week, that will be a huge result IMHO.

That's exactly what they said about the final SL matches before last year's Challenge Cup Final - Hudds an easy one with nowt to play for, Wire still desperate for points at the bottom. Hudds rested half the team for their league game, Wire played the full side. Fast forward one week and I can't quite remember what happened in the final..............................................

| Catalans were not exactly at full strength last night either and lets not forget they had a few "tries" chalked off.
As for it showing Wire what to expect in the semi then I think you may be being a little disrespectful to Kevin Walters as i'm sure what you saw last night will not totally be replicated in the Semi.
And before anyone starts saying i'm anti-wolves, i'm not. You have some great players and good staff and I'm looking forward to a cracking semi now.

EVERY week this season we have had between 6 and 10 players missing. That's the reason we're bottom. When we beat Saints we had nine players missing that day. Yesterday was good but if we have a full squad for the semi who knows what will happen.

| Just a quick question, did Sherwin play for cas in their cup game this year and is he therefore cup-tied for the semi?

| No Sherwin didn't play for Cas, that's why he played against Batley in the Cup.
Remember it's Catalans not Hull FC.
