I'm not one to wind up. But there was Wiganers leaving with 10 minutes to go, when they were still well in the game.

Shocking.

We're the first ones to starve, we're the first ones to die The first ones in line for that pie-in-the-sky And we're always the last when the cream is shared out For the worker is working when the fat cat's about:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_12937.jpg

I know loads of Everton fans that leave with five minutes to go to 'beat the traffic'. Happens at every game, in every spectator sport. Get over it.

I was at work listening to GMR & the commentators among their usual Wigan bias did comment on the fact that some Wigan fans had to be up early for work & so were leaving the game early in a particular type of walking style associated with Wigan supporters. Totally unacceptable for a club with so much history & tradition. These lads on the pitch are playing their b4115 off for your enjoyment...give them the respect they deserve!!!!

10-15% of Wigan fans walked early. It's so predictable it's not even funny any more. Your team deserved an ovation from a full house in what was a classic hard fought game.

Mummy duck is now thoroughly depressed. SHE was the one that was famous for losing five in a row........until the 2011 GF!!!!!:

Quote: Wire_Yed "Can anyone who listened to the game on the radio confirm that the commentator even commentated on it and was shocked in disbelief ?'"

CONFIRMED.....not that it happens, but the fact that it was happening when the game could have gone either way.

bang on,pre match, a lot of the blurb on here about what people wanted was a game that like the last one, was close and went down to the last seconds, i don't know about anyone else but i was expecting us to blow it.

I can understand somewhat if they walked out after the drop-goal but before that is madness! Why would you? You'd face an onslaught of 'We can see you sneaking out' ! If you're gettin battered I'd understand but 6-7 points with about 5 to go that's why I love Rugby League!

Whilst it's fun to bring up the Wigan Walk, our own home supporters can't seem to last 80 minutes these days either.

[b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag. [b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg

Was a nice sight to see - I love a bit of nostalgia. What with them leaving in droves, and them having a decent team, it took me back to the 80s (as did most of the haircuts on show). Lovely stuff.

Warrington RLFC: The Wire, NOT Warrington Wolves FORZA WIRE:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_46584.jpg

Quote: 'Hitman' Norvern Soul "I know loads of Everton fans that leave with five minutes to go to 'beat the traffic'. Happens at every game, in every spectator sport. Get over it.'"

Exactly. I leave every Sunday 3pm home game a couple of minutes early if the game is effectively won for either side by then (seven points would do it but six wouldn't) in order to get a quicker train home rather than stand at Central station for half an hour. If we were getting battered last night (as I fully expected us to after fifteen minutes!) I'd have left early to get the 21.55 train rather than the 22.27 which of course I got quite happily in the end.

If people have a problem with that fine, I couldn't care less, but it happens everywhere whether you like it or not.

the fact our fans do it when the match isn't in contention and alot stay to clap them off. last night it was a hard fought game every wire fan stayed and clapped them off but most of wigans walked off when they were 6 points down. thats a bit too early

Yeah, it made me laugh. icon_lol.gif

A crustmuncher tweeted me last night saying that it is the same for every SL club, and they only call it the Wigan walk "because it's alliteration". a010.gif
