| Quote: Coops "He was lucky to get away with the error when Farrell's try was ruled out could have made a massive difference if it had been given.
Get rid now. Riley or hicks to full bath and Williams on the wing'"
Very poor refereeing decision as Farrell never had hold of the ball, so there was no advantage.
Another great game again though and the better side on the night won.
There's nothing between the teams though and if they played each other the game could go either way.
It would make a superb grand Final.

| I still can't believe he did a forward roll over the ball, in a live SL game.

| One night breathing in pie fumes and it appears certain Warrington fans have caught the Wigan affliction of "slag-Mathersitis".
Right royal cock-up with the junior school acrobatics trying to collect the ball and I'm willing to forgive the dropped ball for the Richards try as I expect he was motoring through to chase a last tackle Briers' grubber when Lee goes off script.
One thing Mathers did exceptionally last night was to negate Richards' quality kick-offs, looked what happened when Morley tried to catch one of them - at least Richie Mathers mopped that one up to spare Morley's blushes.
Even the mess-up on the Farrell no try followed his good full-back play of making Joel "the Hillbilly" Tomkins use his braincell to come up with a poor option kick through when a draw the man and pass could well have lead to a try.
Never mind though what with Warrington winning away at table-topping Wigan, Clarke remaining on the bench and Wainwright well gone "moaners-inc" need some-one to have go at. May as well be Mathers then.

The decision was fine. The advantage was taken when the Wigan player kicked it through.
As for Mathers, he's just not good enough for a team with the ambitions Warrington have. He is a complete and utter liability and a player who has zero intelligence. The mistakes he makes are comical and pretty much always in dangerous positions.

| I try to stick up for him as much as i can but he just seems cursed or something. The knock on which let to richards try i can get over as it could of happened to anyone but how he managed to lose the ball which nearly lead to a farell try i will never know.

| Think ritchie had a poor game last nite,
similar to Brett Hodgson several weeks ago in the challenge cup(SORRY WIGAN)only hodgson came back stronger, mathers really does make some terrible decissions at times almost schoolboy errors but thats how he plays the game...he doznt try and play badly sometimes it comes naturally to him.

There must be a witch somewhere who follows a Super League team going round putting a curse on poor Ritchie in just about every stadium he has the misfortune to play in.
I just think there is a more simple solution. He isn't the brightest of blokes, all Brylcreem and 'how big are me guns, do ya fancy me?". He must also have been one of those kids at school who just couldn't catch. You wouldn't have him at slip for the village cricket team would you.
