Anthony Quinn is a class act, he`s got great upper body strength with good pace and is very hard to put down.

We have no space on the quota anyway especially if the rumours on here are true that Chris Hicks is going to sign a new deal, i`d love Quinn at Wire but relistically i can`t see it happening given the present quota situation.

We need to look at british players, i`ll repeat what ive said in the past where i think we should make an offer for Tom Briscoe that Hull couldn`t refuse.

so if hicks doesn't stay ( looks like he is) would that leave it open for us to sign quinn?

yeh definetly proven in sl and best finisher in the league. wished he was still able to kick then we could've kept mathers and not got hodgson

Why is it bad that we have signed Hodgson and let Mathers go?

not bad but i like mathers and is currently in form

hodgson would add goalkicking which is a plus but it just sad to see him go.
