Don't think so. Leeds know how to grind out wins and today was a good example. Shows that the best team can lose - a warning for us tomorrow. O'Loughlin's ill-discipline cost them vital field position, especially as Leeds totally wasted the ten minutes with one man advantage by kicking penalties instead of applying pressure.

Given the conditions it was an excellent game. Not great telly for a non-fan but the two sides couldn't help that. I think Wigan are a more dangerous side than Leeds this season so on balance I'm not unhappy we've seen the last of the pies. On the other hand, I think they'll definitely win the minor premiership now as they have no distractions. Saints already in semi, up to us to equal that tomorrow.

I know but the optimists have to even out the pesimists.
To be honest I wish it would have been the other way round because if we get Saints at Wembley there`s gonna be one mad rush for coaches.

Wigan should be concerned that their first go at an intense knock-out game under their new regime, they come short.

A game for the purists, but a damn sight better than the tripe being played a twickers, and wigan lost.

When smith scored he near enough jumped over the adevertising board to celebrate , thats why the objects got thrown from the wigan fans in anger frustration , briers got a drop goal at leeds a few years ago in the play offs he didnt celebrate infront of the leeds fans , shaun long got a drop goal against us a few year ago he didnt run upto the wire fans to celebrate if im right he went over to his own supporters and celebrated there , so for me it was OTT

I agree bit OTT but it's not as if there wasn't leeds fans in that stand, And the thing about the advertising boards, i think that might of been more of the leeds player running and jumping on smith tbf.

what i was saying is that throwing objects on the field is wrong no matter how OTT the celebration is.
