| First time I have seen him he's got good hands shown some nice passing at times pretty sure it was him who put a kick over which ended in us scoring.

16 or 17 his goal kicking was a little off to start with he landed 11 against Leeds I read, I think Craig Harvey's goal kicking for the U20s today was the best display of kicking I have seen all season.

| Am not sure as I didn't get a team sheet but I think it was him who played hooker in the second half and looked very dangerous.

He's awful.
It looks like they've given up on being a hlafback and are trying to reinvent him as a interchange hooker. He seems to take some real bad options at times, almost like he lacks a sort of game awareness.

| Goulding was ordinary to say the least in this game and was totally outplayed by the younger Salford 6.

| WARRINGTON WOLVES U18s 32 SALFORD CITY REDS U18s 39
A very entertaining encounter saw the Salford City Reds Under 18s record an excellent victory over their Warrington Wolves counterparts in the RFL Academy Under 18s Championship at Wilderspool Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Reds started off very brightly and finished the stronger with the Wolves edging the middle periods but it was the visitors who rightfully snatched the win in an end to and encounter.
Salford opened the scoring in the second minute when a high kick by stand off Niall Eualls was fumbled by the Wolves defence and then from close to the line scrum half John Stott put Eualls over at the right of the posts and they increased their lead nine minutes later when a short ball from hooker Gareth Owen found prop forward Alex Davidson who powered over under the posts. Eualls added both conversions.
The Wolves got back into the game shortly afterwards when a penalty on the Salford line allowed the ball to come out to scrum half Sam Caslick who stretched over to score and then just before the half hour substitute Brad Dwyer went on his own from acting half back and brushed off three defenders to score wide on the right.
Two minutes later a great sixty metre break by Caslick split the City Reds defence and a quick play the ball saw Dwyer go over and then a high kick by stand off Bobbie Goulding saw centre Tom Brannon outjump the Salford defence to collect and score wide on the left. Goulding goaled both tries to give the Wolves a 20-12 half time lead.
The Wolves stretched their lead seven minutes into the second half when a scrum on the Salford twenty metre line saw Caslick and Goulding combine to find full back Gene Ormsby linking into the line to score wide on the right, Goulding added the extras but then the visitors mounted a stirring fightback when second row Drew Johnson got on the end of a flowing passing movement to score and then slick hands out wide saw centre Andy Morris go over and with Eualls goaling both it reduced the wolves lead to just two points.
Just after the hour a break down the right by Salford winger Tom Marron was carried on by Eualls and he passed back to Marron who scored in the right corner to give hi side the lead once again and that advantage was stretched to six points when hooker Gareth Owen spotted a gap and went on his own to score.
The Wolves refused to give in and they gave themselves hope when second row Aaron Smith went over with two minutes remaining and Goulding goaled to level the scores but a drop goal from Eualls and then an interception try from winger Paul Davies deep into injury time that Eualls converted gave the City Reds a deserved 39-32 victory.
Outstanding for the Wolves were substitutes Brad Dwyer, Ryan Duffy and Oliver Giles and for Salford hooker Gareth Owen, stand off Niall Eualls and prop forward Alex Davidson were the pick.
After the game Head Coach Gary Chambers said, “We are obviously disappointed to have lost the game after building up a commanding lead early in the second half but we will learn from our mistakes. There were some positives to take from the game but there are also many areas for us to work on before we entertain Hull KR next Saturday including our discipline. It would have been nice to start the season with a win but it wasn’t meant to be and you have to give Salford credit for the way that they stuck at their task and ground out the victory.”
