We had good go forward when we had Mark Hilton and Fozzard, Foz used to wear the Silly pads on his arms that were huge

Forwards for me. The backs may come up with the match winning try and play the fancy stuff, but they cant do it without a good platform set by the forwards. A beaten pack means a beaten team.

Fozzard wears that pad on his arm to protect it. He broke that arm 3 or 4 times.

My favourite memories include Paul Noone tonking Panface round the park, and more recently Moz smashing Fielden to pieces in a number of games. I don't have as many 'heroes' as such now I'm no longer a kid, but Benny Westwood remains one for me. So it's forwards.

Having said that the game would be no fun if it was 13 forwards vs 13 forwards. Good back play is as good as it gets and, despite many a disappointment down the years, we've been treated at Warrington to many a skilful back plying their trade.

But forwards win matches and championships.
