Gutted was really looking forward to this and it was my excuse to get out of the in laws early

I`m suprised its been called off, i`m in Penketh and the snow has virtually melted away around this way and the lawn is soft and bright sunshine.

Maybe they should have left the covers off and let the natural smogg that hangs over Widnes thaw out the pitch.

Once you go out though you'll find the pavements and side-roads still quite dangerous.

That was probably the problem like Paul eluded too, the pitch is probably fine gauging by what its like round here. If it had been a more important game i`m sure they would have gone the extra mile to clear the surrounding areas with plenty of salt, it wasn`t worth it given the line up we were putting out and what the crowd would have been.

cast your mind back a couple of seasons when it was called off at the HJ. I seem to remember all kinds of bile coming from our neighbours.

tell me about it I live in paddington nad on certain roads the paths and roads are like death traps, spent 3 hrs clearing paths and road in front of my house extending either side, family are like the walking wounded, long time since its been this bad. would you believe it after all that work its starting to thaw. saying that struggled to get car up the path. roll on summer rugby

think you will find that your club called it off with a lot of the fans in the ground having had to pay £5 to park and when they came back out the carpark attendance had disapeared with the money

I know mate, I am unsure as to why Warrington fans think that is somehow down to them though. It isn't as if we'd have stayed up should you have lost that game.
