I agree that Tomkins should have a place.

He wasn't your coach at the World Cup last year was he? I think England fans had their opinions of him then aswell. This has sweet fa to do with Wire.

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate
-
the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever
-
Ande..on the TV i could only hear the Wigan fans with about 10 to go

I wish Tony Smith would agree.
He is actually a disgrace to our international game. He has lost all my respect. I think even wire fans will admitt this is a huge cockup from your coach.

And the week after we play the greatest australian side for quite sometime. This game is massive, it's the last game before we play the aussies. We should be playing Tomkins and McGuire letting them hit off some partnership before the big one.
Instead Tony Smith has ruined Englands chances like he did at the WC. He should stick to club rugby, he is good with that.

Stop talking nonsense man for once. IF the performance against France isn't good enough then come back then with your moaning, but until the game has taken place then for God's sake take a hike

Sorry, didn't realise he was allowed to have an opinion? Let's all be boring and agree that Smith is the best coach in the world

It is not about the result against France!
The france game is preperation for the biggest game since the WC against the aussies, if we played Tomkins and McGuire in this game then they would be much better off for the game against the aussies, infact the whole team would benefit.
Please someone try and justify this decision. How do I talk nonsense, go on I dare you to justify Smiths decision.
Myler might have a great game and score a few tries but thats not the point, Tomkins did that in the last game when they both played and should be playing in this game as preperation.
Myler selection is simply a perk or signing for wire.

You failed to mention his record in relation to previous coaches? People for years have moaned about youth not being given a chance or coaches going with the same old players, well Che is trying to blood new players. I agree that Tomkins should be in there but Myler had earnt his stripes against the French last time, granted that Myler was awful against the Welsh possibly with him not having played for 3 months.

David Waite IMO was heading GB in the right direction, the last coach IMO who made the correct selections based on performances rather than reputation. That was also when we had any realistic chance of winning test series against the Aussies, even though we didn't win any of them we was more closer then than what we are now and alot of the good work was down to him.

So the answer to his question was "I cant".
