| I attended the HJ yesterday and as always stood in the South Stand. We have gone for the last 2 years to the finals, this year was different, and I don't think I will go next year. During the first half of the last game I felt so uncomfortable that I asked the steward to move myself and my daughter to the East Stand which they kindly did, I felt it could have got out of hand. At half time I went down to the toilets, and never, have I seen the toilets at the HJ in such a state, I was also informed that the police had instructed the kiosks to be closed, due to the crowd behavior. I dread to think what would have happened if Barrow had lost. Cannot comment on other fans as we were not near them. This is only my opinion so will not get into a discussion with anyone. All I know was that last year we were in with Salford, Celtic and Oldham fans and had a great day.

| There was at least two arrests from the South stand yesterday, one of them being a streaker. Perhaps some of Barrows' 100k prize money [imay[/i go back to the RFL if there's a probe into their crowd.

The concourse offering is abysmal at times.'"
I would say their fayre/service is of equal standing to that on offer at Old Trafford. Mass catering in a very specific time slot cannot be easy.

| Never had a problem at the HJ myself.
But at Boundary Park on Saturday, they ran out of pies BEFORE half-time, which I wasn't impressed by.

| It does make me laugh how there are 2 threads about the HJ at the moment. One supportingg/complementing saying how good of a stadium it is yet this current one is moaning about anything and everything there is to moan about.
The HJ is not perfect, no ground is. They all have their 'little' problems but it's a place some fans like to call home, even if they do run out of pies.
Imo, it's always been fine but that's just me.

I would suggest running out of food and drink before the final game at an RFL event is more than a little problem. Is it not reasonable that supporters can get a pie and a pint if they want one? Surely it makes commercial sense too for both income and to ensure we get the gig again next year?
The issue is that Heathcotes would rather sell out early rather than carry unsold stock and they clealry err too much on the side of caution in predicting demand. It appears that they do not suffer any consequence from running out either.
Mind you greasy spoon stalls at the side of A roads seem to manage...

| Do they just, like, predict aridiculously small crowd or something? Two (three?) games on in one day? I'd be cooking the pies myself if it was my company. Heathcoates must be alright for a few bob if they can afford to essentially turn away custom whilst still having staff 'clocked on'.

| I must admit to never having an issue at a normal game, but I suspect events like the one on Sunday are much more difficult to predict demand.
Had this been sold out in advance and the problems occured then they deserve a b0llocking, however I know you could pay on the day. It would be interesting to know what the walk-up crowd was, as this may have caught them short.

| Another problem they had as well is that there were no fixtures just before or after this event meaning they were stocking for one event. They wouldn't have over stocked themselves in case they were then left with a lot of stock.
The attendance for the day was put at 11,398 so that is higher than our average attendance and probably more than they were expecting. You've then got it being mostly away fans so more likely to buy food and drink in the ground and the event being over 7 hours long.

| Live Wired wasn't even happy when we won the CC. It would be interesting to know whether he was around in the pre HJ era, or in 1969-70 when things were really bad. Or has Andy Gatcliffe run over his Dog or something?

| I booked a ticket for Wigan away this year on the website and picked it up the following day. I've made purchases in the club shop on a regular basis this year and just walked in, found what I wanted, paid for it and walked out. I've always been able to make a purchase inside the stadium with no problems at all, not missing a single minute of the game.
Either I have an abundance of luck, or these claims about shoddy customer services at the club are made up, or recieved by people who can't make a task as simple as it should be.
