Would that be the same Che Smith who got us to Wembley where we won the CC?

How will McGuire secure a work permit?'"
Probably the same way that Smith, Potter, Matterson, Morgan etc did.

Potter and Morgan - Already held a head coaches role (within the EU).
Matterson - Scotland head coach.
Smith - Been in the UK since 2001, prior to the introduction of the head/international coach ruling.
So, I will ask again; how will McGuire obtain a work permit?

| Can,t agree with Ian Lenaghan. I think that Wigan played as well as they possibly could last night. It was just that the Saints defence, which was superb, stifled them.

| Watched the NRL Grand Final this morning and was looking out for McGuire; was he the one doing the water carrying duty?

| You will have to go a long way to find a coach to do what Noble has done at Wigan. Staring down both barrell's of relagation when he took over, and has been a regular in semi-finals three years running. not a bad year by Wigan considering losing first choice 1,6,11 for large parts of the year.
As for Jon Sharp there welcome to him.... average at best

I think Noble has been harshly treated by Wigan, he is a good coach and he always seems to have his teams playing at their best at the business end of the season. I wouldn't say no to Noble if he came to Warrington as the eventual successor to Smith.

As you say, the thing that Noble can do is turn a sows ear of a squad into a silk purse at the business end of the season for some reason. We just needed a coach who could manage not to turn a silk purse of a squad into a sows ear on a seasonal basis. Hopefuly Smith is that man.

| I think Noble has been treated very un fair. imo he has worked very well with a very poor squad of players.
