 I wondered how long a thread like this would take.
A week after Wembley, game on telly and away in Hull. Not really the most accessible game for any new fans we might have gained after winning the cup. We didn't go. Foz doesn't finish work until 5:30pm on a saturday. I didn't even watch the game live. Taped it and watched it later last night with Foz and a curry. I must be the worst fan ever.

a: you are always one of the best followed teams we get at our ground
b: you just won the cup and thought you might like to rub it in |

The cup was there, silver thing held up by a Warrington fan every time they scored.
Felt a bit let down when they turned it around only to see the word WEETABIX printed on the back.

| Ive only missed 4 games all season including challenge cup, being bradford,harlequins,catalan, and hull kr all away, didnt go last nyt as i was down to bare bones of money, my bank account went from £310 to £50 and would have cost around £30 to go hull kr so was in no position to go  |

Natters. Don't make comments about part time fans when you didn't even go yourself yesterday. A lot of people won't go to either of the Hull Clubs for reasons that should not be dredged up again. With your comments about Briers and Mathers and now your comments about the HKR turnout you are just stirring it. Get a life.

Wasn't expecting a large turnout from us yesterday
It's true what others have said.You cannot expect that after Wembley, the country being in the middle of a recession and the match on sky that we were going to take many.
Add to that KR charging £20 to sit in the north stand [which although being better than the south still is not the best of views and without cover] where most of us were just might of swayed a few.
Saying that the fans that went did themselves proud and I for one had a good time.
P.S did anyone else notice the 'hand gesture' Rufus the mascot made to the wire fans before the game?
