If you want an owner who is going to speak in the press week in week out about who he thinks is a good player or not then good for you. As all the thread states, he is a shy person when it comes to Wires and stays in the background. There is no doubt in my mind that without Simon Moran this club would not be where it is now. We as fans owe him a debt of gratitude beyond calculation.

I have spoken out in favour of Mr Moran many times on this board and will continue to do so. He loves the club as much as any of us and more than some of us.

If he chooses to keep directly out of the limelight then that is his choice and I fully respect that.

An old boss of mine used to say there are those that do and those that talk about it. Mr Moran is the former and long may his ownership of Warrington Wolves continue.

I have had some experience with Mr Moran and I guarantee that he doesn't want or seek any publicity, he doesn't want his company name used as a sponsor. Compare and contrats with Dave Whelan and the 'DW' stadium.
