Any thoughts.'"
Eventually we will get diminishing returns spending on the youth system. Its not as simple as keeping spending more and more money and you will get more good players, we used to blow thousands in the 1990s on sign on fees, and it didn't do us any good.
Does anybody in the know have any ideas what we need to spend on which would improve our youth system? What facilities are we lacking?

| I'm not bothered about Wolves or Wires.
It's the term "Wolfs" that annoys me.

| there is a wolf on the town crest so i can see why Wolves was used when we all gained silly nicknames. I will always call them Wire but yes its easy to market a cuddly wolf than to sell barbed wire to keep the kids oout of your back garden

Monitoring outside for the people inside: |
|
| Before Superleague, the wembley finalists would go on a post final spending spree with the money gained. We bought Kevin Ellis, Rowland Phillips and Alan Bateman on the back of the 1990 trip. It ususlly guaranteed the teams a good following season.
For some reason, it doesn't seem to follow now. Huddersfield, Bradford and Hull have had indifferent seasons immediately after a Wembley final. Not sure why?

We've discussed this before. [iWire [/iwill always be the club's public 'nickname', but it's been in the public domain so long that the club could not trade mark it as a name, meaning, for example, that anyone could make and could sell [iWarrington Wires[/i scarves at Wembley/in the town centre, and take money that would otherwise go to the club. Trademarked names are valuable. You may have forgotten that when we first adopted 'Wolves', Wolverhampton Wanderers from the wendyball league objected on the ground of 'causing confusion with consumers' and for a few years we had to use only the full term[i Warrington Wolves,[/i not just [iWolves[/i, in anything official.

A couple of grand for a rugby match - people think I'm crazy..... they're obviously not Wolves fans. Is totally worth it in my opinion.'"
Absoulte great post mate .. Im not flying from Bermuda but i will be traveling from Spain to London and its caused me some bother (With the Missus) but i could not think of anything better.

But Saints went on to have great seasons, so I don't think your theory applies.
