| I used to miss playing Widnes....But i'm afraid things move on...
I was in Barcelona for the Catalan game and it occured to me...
Having a drink on Las Ramblas in glorious weather then watching the match at the Olympic Statdium...
Or a drink in the Cricketers arms then the Stobart stadium with the smell of S**t drifting over..
Mmm tough choice...

| When was the last competitive Wire V Widnes derby, all the ones I recall in SL era were one sided dross, wire cleaning out Widnes each time with ease ?

The first meeting in SL resulted in a Widnes win at Wilderspool. The rush of blood that was created in the nether-regions, resulted in mass fainting in the away end.

Right, so its been a while then. SHame, widnes always been my 2nd team, enjoyed wtaching them in the early 80's, couldnt fail to be impressed by their squad back them. Be great see them back in the big time, with a strong squad and giving it a go...much better than "waste of space" salford who offer and bring nothing to teh game of RL and shoudl be wound up and sent off to amateur world...

| fair enough. I cba with all the bickering whilst we are not in the same division tbh. In terms of Sl era, Warrington probably won more games, but it wasn't as one sided as you make out SS, I think it worked in 'seasons'. One year we'd win all games, then vice versa the following year. Weird.
Whilst I appreciate you dislike the pies more, will you ever be considered their 'enemy'?
