Oh yes he did it was his worst defensive game for ages unfortunately. His positioning was poor for two of their tries, guilty of ball watching and not pushing up with the sliding defence. He really isn't a centre, put him back on the wing where he looks confident and is at his best.
Not sure about MOM, Harrison had some good spells on the pitch, Bridge was lively, the Andersons both had solid games, Clarke was good but maybe it was Briers who gave the team the edge.

| Scrappy game in all but ive gone for Bridge due to his kicking game and the reason that he always looked threatening down the left channel.
King had a shocker in defence and should be put back on the wing.

| Briers MOM for me - just thought he orchestrated everything we did. Gave a solid defensive display aswell. Also, his 1st Try came at a crucial time and spurred us on for th rest of the match.
It's getting harder to choose just 1 Man of the Match when in truth there are no blatantly poor performances from anyone.
The only weak link last night was Ben Westwood - horror performance.

Comedy genius LWF.
How many times do you think Bridge kicked the ball?

Top of my head three times, one led to the Anderson try, one forced a drop-out and the other had Dixon trapped on his try-line.

Strangely he did. He put in some real good shots. Welcome to the weird twilight zone world of Tony Smiths Wire.

You missed out his bomb that went out on the full, his dab through that was easily defused by dixon, another kick out on the full too IIRC

| Louis Anderson for me, thought he ran the ball in hard and ran good lines, some good solid defence as well.

Like i said it was from the top of my head but only one of his kicks went out on the full and the dab through was aimed at the post, unfortunately it didn't come off but if it did I'm sure you would have mentioned it in a different light.

Maybe so, but you claimed that he had a good kicking game, which IMO it wasn't...

| Harrison or King for me.
It amazes me how Harrison is always the first forward back after a kick return. His work ethic for the team is awesome and I am becoming a big fan of his.
King just edges it though. He is no Lyon or Gidley (I dont think he was that style of player when we signed him)but I think he has played in both Wing positions and both centre positions for us now. He has been moved about the side a lot but slotted in really well without noticing he was playing in a different position. .
