Smith's contract started with immediate effect once it was announced that he had joined.
So he will be responsible for picking the team, team talks etc. none of that observing rubbish.

If you do poorly well TS has not taken over yet. If you do well it is still put down to the Arrival of TS.
If you were playing a weakened salford team this weekend it is likely Smith would have been more assertive.

He will lift the team just by his reputation for being a strict no nonsense coach imo.
Wether your guys will respond is another story which we will have to wait and see.
I would also expect to see a few departure's from your place either during or at the end of the season.
