Good news for you lot top domestic player, clearly not World Class. I dont know where the Wigan link came from other than speculation.

I would have liked him at Wigan as i feel a new environment could have sitmulated him to perform as he did a couple of years ago which was world class, he has failed to hit those heights since.

Hopefully for the sake of GB and Wire the new conditioner and team mates can encourage him to step up to the level of previous performances.

I also think on current form there for Wigan will be better options for the money but if he does regain the world class form he is capable of then worth every penny of what im sure must be a significant contract.

Gleeson has done very well for us, his 'supa' Saints form is a myth, his under performing here is a myth (barr a ropey by his own standards 2006).

As i've said, next year, I think he'll be superb.

So, he played a pivotal role didn't he. If he'd only played in say 1, or a couple of sub appearances, he'd have been on the periphary.

Given the number of players that played in the series, what with players 'rested' & dropped, he must have done something right.
