| Bit confused over the Poching appointment then moving him on, he was Smiths choice. Clearly Agar is seen as an improvement.

| There seem to be a lot of backtracking going on here, we have gone from if Agar comes season tickets wont sell and we could follow the same path as Wakefield to he is a great appointment and the future looks good...

True, but, to be fair to the forum IW I think that most of it was based on an assumption that TS was lining up his replacement next season rather than an assistant

Perhaps Smith, Poching and Marshall think its time that Poching and Marshall had a go at running their own club/team as head coach and despite what drama queens on here may think Smith is going no-where for the forseeable future so that means they need to go elsewhere.

| As in politics a week on this forum is a long time. With the revelation that TS is staying till 2016 ,the mood on here has suddenly mellowed & Richard Agar has gone from being the Great Satan to the Messiah-in-waiting. Great to see everybody so chilled now.

| Guardian today says Poching is looking for a head coaches role for next year, or at least it is time for him to reach for it.
Marshall is taking time out to decide on his future, whatever that means.
I've been thinking about the Agar thing since it was announced, and whilst I'm still not thrilled about him coming on board, you have to at least admire a little bit, that he's had the balls to say "i want to leave, i want to go be somewhere and compete". People complain all the time about standards dropping and teams in the bottom half of the league stagnating/standing still. So its a bit refresshing to see this kind of attitude from someone at a lower placed club.
PLUS we've got a better chance of getting danny kirmond if Waterhouse does pack in at the end of the year.

| Swear to God this is the most astonishing news I have ever heard!! It could only be topped if I were to hear that Barry Chuckle has become president of the United States. That said I would bet Barry would do a better job in that role than Agar will do at Wire. He is completely dire he has a CV FULL of failure on every level - Hull - horrendous - Wakefield - taking us to extinction and France - the most under performing side in the world cup. It really is the most incredible news I have ever heard - see you in the bottom half of the table next year. Unbelievable.

| Seems to be a case of 'freshening' things up from a coaching standpoint which I can relate to, dealing with the same coaches and players does tend to breed familiarity and someone coming in from outside can see things that people closer may miss.
And as someone has already said the concern was with Agar in and Smith out but we have both until 2016.
Reading the Guardian today I doubt Smith is planning on going anywhere by his own choice anytime in the future.
