We’ve been slightly better than them in attack. But they lost Matauita in the warm up and have Sene-Lafao in the centres, so a little less cohesive.
Austin hasn’t done much. Widdop has been all over everything in attack, with Currie and Ratchford . It’s a good job Widdop is in the team as we’d literally have no HB creativity - apart from Austin’s supercharged bombs on the 5th. |

Is it worth bringing Dean back alongside Widdop? Austin’s one-on-one defence is probably better but Dean might give us an attacking edge on the right, plus a much better short kicking game.

I hope Widdop stays for Powell next year if he’s happy with his off-field affairs. He’s been great this year and doing exactly what we signed him for.
