| It's not about taking Salford for granted; it's about recognising there will be a far bigger cost if either player breaks down later in the season because we have completely run them into the ground. Both Hill and Ratchford should get a rest.

I suppose they have to balance that with being told they can play professional sport for a living, represent their Country and travel to places they would not go otherwise, with a max of about 20 hours per week work.
Having said that Hill could do with a rest. Ratch will be fine.

| I think we need to take Salford seriously, we lost to a Cas team who had about 6 players out and think we need to keep the same level of focus we have for the past 3 to 4 months.

She can do the exhausting bit while he lies there. It’s the least he can expect after long journey with jet lag!

| Is this the first time in years that we play at home on walking day?
The South stand could end up being a bit of a mess. Especially with this weather

We until fairly recently we've been a Sunday home game team.
So there's not that much of a window of opportunity.
It could be the 1st in our history.
Walking Day wasn't planned to clash with rl that was played on Saturdays then Sunday... Tbh walking day precedes it by decades. It was purposely made the Friday to discourage people from going to Haydock Park that had a meeting that weekend.

| We're on TV quite a bit though so I'd I have thought there would have been a few but I can't seem to remember any.

Sky have only been around 2 decades and a bit, so the window is still very small.

If your source for players feelings is the same as the one who gives you nailed on transfers then I wouldn't count on it. Irrelevant now anyway, they both get a rest, we should still have enough to win the game.

Talk about irrelevance.

Going off topic here, but how big is Walking Day nowadays? It used to be massive when I was in my teens (1970's) and everywhere shut for the day

I'd like to know that, too. Walked every year up to including as an 18 year old altar 'boy' for St Stephen's Church / school but the last one I did would have been 1974.
