| Awful. That was the 2 best teams Super League can offer ?
Wayne Bennett must be wondering what he's let himself in for. There's only so many British NRL players he can call upon.

| Well we had our chances. Westerman in the first half comes to mind. We just didn't take the ones that Hull served us on a platter, I think we started a set off their mistakes twice in that game in perfect positions only to drop the ball on the first play. Sandow needed better than what he had around him tonight, he was putting in great hits, chasing his own kicks like a man possessed and gave us more than enough momentum to build on but we continually let it fritter away. Sims needs to change his ball running style, you can see a mile off when he's going to offload, he wasn't even looking tonight, he just hit and flung the ball out the back.

| What a dreadful game - we couldn't keep hold of the ball. And that wasn't losing the ball in the tackle due to pressure (although some was), it was mainly before the line and just poor handling. Both sides were guilty of it really. Not a great game for the TV audience and even worse for those of us in the ground.

| Quote: jj86 "Horror show (from both teams). Deserved to lose after bombing so many chances. few players come out of that with any credit. Sandow was good but needed to take the line on more tonight. Evans ok. Ratchford was the best out of our lot as at least he didn't drop the ball. Presume Julien got an injury as he didn't come back on.
We looked knackered at the end - a few too many playing with injuries. That was a full strength Hull side too - amazing how they haven't picked up many injuries really - can't be coincidence though - they must be doing something right. How many overseas players do they have though?'"
How many chances did you bomb? I only remember 2 - one from westerman in the 1st half and one from clarke in the 2nd. Hull bombed one also.
Other than the westerman dropped ball, you didn't create anything all night and Hull's defence dealt with your attack easily.
A game for both sides to draw a line under

| Missed chances and school boy errors, Westerman and Clark through both with clear cut chances and game changers
Poor display all round with too many Hollywood plays when a solid performance with a good completion rate would have beat Hull easily tonight
I thought they played Currie very well and was his most ineffective game of the season, they obviously targeted him but for them Sneyd was the difference along with experienced players playing to the conditions in the last quarter of the game
Disappointed

| As others have said, far too many errors and two clear cut chances bombed. However, Hull appear to have a clean bill of health at the moment while we probably had 3 or 4 players out there tonight who shouldn't have been playing. Add in the half dozen first teamers who were missing and I'm not too disheartened even though it was a game we could have won. Nothing won at this stage of the season and 3 or 4 due back next week for Catalans.

| We're never going to win the game when we drop that much ball - absolutely shocking and Hull weren't much better. Anyone see the kick off afterwards?

| I don't understand why neither side played more conservatively considering the conditions. As a result the outcome was a lottery - which we lost.

| The second half was poor from us.. Only Clark and Atkins looks capable of making anything happen.. We were beaten by a team that worked harder and made slightly less errors .. Hull no real flair but still bossed us.

How many of those have you had out at one time though? It's not so bad when you only have to replace one guy. When 3-4 go down though from the first team it's noticeable. You are currently injury free, we aren't but that isn't why we lost in any way really.

| On a positive note at least we won't see much of Ormsby for the rest of the year, simply not good enough!
Really miss Russell in games like that,we struggled to make metres bringing the ball back and we didn't get enough quick play the ball's for our two hookers

| I must say ,the game i watched was a game of two very good defences, but on the other hand ,for whatever reason, both attacks suffered from unforced errors. Knock ons seemed to be the order of the day & Hull were more deserving of the win with slightly better ball retention.
I thought the game was refereed well & but for the knock ons Mr Childs would have had very little to do tonight. Very pleased with the spirit in which the game was played.

| Quote: rubber duckie "Why when we have 4 props do we keep running the first drive with a feckin winger?
How many knock ons? We asking for knock ons by constantly running Ormsby 1st tackle.'"
Here, here duckie. The most stupid thing in the world, to have a winger (who's not exactly setting the world alight with his performance levels) driving the ball forward, in the opening sets of the game. That's what the pack is for.
As a whole, that was one of the sorriest "performances" from a Wire team I've witnessed. No flair, no plan B, Sandow running up his own chuff because his teammates have got their heads up their own bottoms. We got pulled into a down the middle armwrestle, and rarely looked like changing anything. The blame for this lies firmly at the feet of Smith/Agar. Not a thing changed in 80 minutes.
Another big task on Friday, now. We can't afford to become too detatched from the top. Even Wigan are above us now, and they've had more injuries than Gonville Bromhead's brave red coated boys at Rourke's Drift.
