That will do me. Flesh it out with the likes of Rhys Evans, Riley, Cooper, Harrison, Hill, Laithwaite (and possibly Bateman) who are all under 25 and we look ok for the next 10 years or so.

| Quote: clutch "Massive potential, but no way was he MOM. Briers ran the show the first half.'"
Briers runs the show every week. I can't quite believe how good Briers is. Even now at the Autumn of his career, the guy is immense. He's our best player every single week.
For some reason he's not a fashionable player. He got the odd "Briers for Great Britain" comment once or twice a year off Eddie a few years ago and gets the odd comment now and again off Stevo now, but he's criminally underrated. And he's one of the few characters in the game too.
To see the hype and bull$h!t that some players get, constantly, and then to see what Lee does week-in-week-out...
As for Gaz O'B; I'm very very impressed. He's still a bit raw in some areas but I'm excited about his future.

| Briers was MoM for mine and he is playing as well as ever. Best kicking game in SL bar none.
With GOB his kicking was really aimless and I do wonder if he lacks a yard of pace. Lots more to come from him though and he is learning from an absolute master.

Also take into account the age of others such as Bridge, Atkins, Hill, Grix. Great for the future. What would a team without Codgers look like?
1. Ratchford
2. Riley
3. Atkins
4. Bridge
5. Evans
6. O'Brien
7. Myler
8. Hill
9. Grix
10.Harrison
11.Currie
12.Laithwaite
13.Bateman
14.M.Cooper
15.Dwyer
16.McCarthy
17.J.Cooper
The future is bright.

Nope he doesn't appear that quick for a half-back especially compared to many currently in SL.

| Our current number 6 'lacks a yard of pace' and he's done alright for himself.

| Briers has always made up for that with his anticipation annd reading of the game and GOB needs to develop the same attributes. Players like Brough, McGuire and our own Myler havve the advantage of raw pace.

I'm not gonna complain about his pace if he scores a few more like Friday's with his foot above the line!

Good anticipation there, very Joel like in not giving up on the kick.
