But not good enough to back up for a second tough game in a row in the playoffs. The spine of the team is too old.

Out of the older players, only Hodgson played in both. Morley and Briers had more than a week off. Nothing to do with players being too old.

Didnt think it would be too long before you came on ere sticking your ten bobs worth in , can you please remind me off the 2 tough games in the play offs , as i remember the 1st game was a comfortable demolition of a huddersfield side and the 2nd game was lost in the last kick of the game

Key word; lost.
TS and SM made the right call buying loads of octogenarians in to gather some short-term "success," but in the mid-to-long term you're going to suffer because the Hodgsons, Briers and Morleys of the world can't hack the pace week in week out and your youngsters aren't good enough.

50086_1357229109.jpg [b:33tg3xj5]Me:[/b:33tg3xj5] I'm still reeling from the news that someone is considering watching the 1st and 3rd game on Saturday and NOT watching Warrington play. It's like being in Shea Stadium when the Beatles came to town and deciding to nip out for a fag.
[b:33tg3xj5]knockersbumpMKII:[/b:33tg3xj5] Is it FOOK, you're good but you're not THAT good, jesus you wanky fans need to get over yourselves, Beatles at the Shea in '65 was a once in a lifetime opportunity for some (despite the following years performance), you can watch a very good team in primrose & yellow play every week if you really wanted to but comparing it to one of the very best music groups of all time in an iconic stadia such as the shea is overegging your importance, you're not even the best team in SL atm:d7dc4b20b2c2dd7b76ac6eac29d5604e_50086.jpg |

| No issue with the age of our squad when we won at Wigan the other week. Presumably the 'age cliff' was reached shortly after and they're now all completely Jamie Foster?

| Morely should have gone to Salford for the start of this season. When the offer was put to the club by Salford.Don't think he breaks a tackle any more looks well of the pace. And to think we let Jack Cooper go,who from what i have heard Saints are looking at bring back from Oz.

| Moz was poor high tackle just after kick off. Then again when he came back on in second half. Very poor discipline from the infamous leader?!?!?
Hodgson being very shaky in defence when one on one may be an understatement. But he still has a lot to offer.
I thought micky higham did very well and is definately in good form at the minute
Briers again seemed to be the only one of the older generation really trying.
However, the squad getting back to basics took a step forward, i know the penalty count was ridiculous again but imagine if we were tryin the solomona esque pass on every tackle like recent weeks!!!

It wasnt the best but I've seen that happen to Sam Tomkins this season and he's the best fullback ever to lace boots.
(and he's only 12 years of age).

unfunny......absolutely repetative.....and repeatedly unfunny...... and not bitter much at our "success".....
I assume Success is in speech marks because challenge cups winners back to back followed up by finishing league leaders is the mark of rank average teams in your book.....
octogenarians.................loving hell how many times can you put that in a post on this board aimed at Wire players ages before you think your a knob......
between 80 and 89 no doubt
worse troll ever.........and from Wigan thats some fecking award
