Worse job in the world having to deal with members of Joe Public.

Travelling from Ireland on a regular basis I rely on the shop and have never received anything other than friendly efficiency.

My personal experience has just been bad, On a number of occasions I have asked for something not on display (Different sized shirt, Match DVD’s etc) and just feel that I have been fobbed off.

I hate to jump on the bandwagon but I've not got anything that nice to say about the club shop either.

I've had a season ticket for, erm let me think, 4 years now after a few years break due to Uni, working the other end of the country etc, and they still can't manage to put me on the mailing list for renewals. Every autumn I go in to renew and I get the same blank stare when I tell them I don't have a renewal letter. They then take all my details and promise that I'll get a renewal letter at the end of next season. I smile and nod my head at them knowing full well I'll go through the same process next year.

Yeah, all the renewals are done through the shop (well, according to the woman that did mine yesterday).

I did the change of address thing last year, even though I haven't changed addresses for a few years now, but with no luck. She even had to check the hand written plan of the stadium to check I was allocated to my seats as she said I didn't exist on their computer system.

Its so nice to feel appreciated as a long term fan and supporter of the club.

I have often been amazed by the rudeness of many of the customers. Perhaps the people complaining should have a look at themselves before shouting their mouths off?

Never had a problem either with buying tickets or with stuff from the shop.

not a slight at Wire but with the whole game, we are just not that great at marketing and merchandise with probably the exception of Wigan [vomits in mouth].

Leeds are immense to be fair to them.

To be fair, in terms of the marketing, Wigan are very good, they have a great bloke in charge, think it is Mick Hogan.

In terms of merchandise, their fans complain just like us.

At least for the past however many years, we have had at least one kit out for Christmas, usually both IIRC.

Off the top of my head, the home kits come out in November and the away kits in January.

So the home kit would be a perfect Xmas gift
