Surely he wants to win cups?
Wire would provide a better chance than Salford to do so.

| We're more ambitious than Salford, and wealthier so we could probably offer him more.
Potential to win cups with Wire, work under arguably the best coach in the league and earn a shed load, seems promising to me.
Would be like Man City having Rafa in charge, the money, the manager and the ambition

The coverage of RL nationally is less than useless these days. At one time most national newspapers had a dedicated rugby league writer who covered another sport out of season.
Now it is all hands to the pump doing a bit of everything - bit like our place!!!
I've noticed when I'm abroad or out of the RL zone there is next to zero coverage in the national press.
I enjoy being my own boss too much to work for some one else. Still do a bit of freelancing when I choose but not generally on sport.

RL in the nationals is nothing short of disgraceful, this is one of the most exciting sports in the country and people just don't know about it.
When i havr taken Rugby virgins with me they've been completely smitten with the game. Best kept secret in Britain just wish more people knew about it.

i am working down in Essex and the Daily Star has an article about Terry Matterson signing a new deal at Cas and Bradford making a big play to sign Craig Wing!!!
I was very surprised to get any RL coverage down here to be honest!!!

| (Taken from a BBC Website)McRae said....
Myler has another 18 months to run on his current contract but Salford are keen to tie him down sooner rather than later.
"It's up to Richard now," said McRae. "There's nothing more we can do. If he accepts that offer, then that's great.
"But if he doesn't, then we react accordingly and that's the business we are in."
Didn't I say just so? If Myler doesn't sign that extension very soon. Then they will sell. Its last chance saloon!
Salford fee is to be undisclosed, because that's how Warrington deal! A figure of £250,00 is rumored. If Warrington do pull out, then Salford wont be getting anything like that for him. And if Myler holds out until the end of the season the figure may be around £175,000-£200,000
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My idea this...Might it be possible that Warrington could buy him now for £200k and allow Myler to play at Salford on loan til the end of the season? But thats me, not rumors talking.

If we pay a figure anything like 250k up front, I would want him at the club shop rather than at Salford. I appreciate how it works well if the clubs are in different divisions and also how players are loaned between Super League clubs but if we* spunk that much cash for something we should at least be able to use it.
*and when I say we I mean SJM.

Could you imagine if that scenario ensued with Myler single-handedly dismantling us. There would be uproar, 'why have we spnt all this cash to let him batter us?'
It would be hillairous though.

Exactly, you wouldn't splash out serious wads of cash on a luxury sports car and then allow the previous owner to run it into the ground for another six months.
I think we should go and get him now, im sure we could fit him under the cap this year with some creative accounting.
He could quite possibly be the missing ingredient needed to take this team to the GF.
