He didn't really get much game time during that match (I'm sure it was only about 15-20 minutes in total) so I guess I just based my opinion on the time I seen him. Though seeing what he's done so far, I guess my estimation wasn't that far out.

I don't even know if he will come good or not. Will be interesting to see if his form continues to dip come the business end of the season. I really don't understand why it's taking him so long to blend in. He's had over 200 games in the NRL, played over 20 times for the Kiwis (also been captain), co-captain of the Rabbitohs, a NRL Grand Final winner. Everyone always say that SL is slower than the NRL, but at times whenever I see him run in and hit up, it's like watching it in slow motion. The only thing I can think of is that he may be suffering a slight bout of homesickness or something. |

If he was a winger making mistakes and poor judgement calls, or a half back not quite getting his passing game right, you could maybe look to blame home sickness. Fact is his job is to take the ball in hard and straight, make some yards and be an imposing defensive figure... there's nothing really to question here. He is either lazy or the tank is totally empty.
he is an impact forward with absolutely no impact.

I have said this previously, how long did it take for the Burgess clan and our Mike Cooper to make an impact over in Aus?
Asotasi is just a lazy lump over here collecting pension benefit. I would reckon paying his contract and returning him to sender would improve the mood of the camp for both the supporters and the players.
