| Just had a nice reply back from Andy Gatcliffe. The club do listen and do care. The key is being polite, to the point, and dealing at the right level.

| Quote: Paul Youane "You would hope that if we are lucky enough to reach the Grand Final then the club would have the Seetickets and Gigsandtours platforms made available for the processing of on-line orders.
However remember back a couple of months and there was much dissent on here that the tickets for the Aus v NZ Four Nations match were sold through these outlets rather than the club's own website. To think that lots on here questioned the legitimacy of these websites in comparison to Wolfware-online.
I wonder how many of the orders they got were from season ticket holders? It would have been better to allow for ticket purchses made during the two weeks they were on sale prior to the date being confirmed to have been cancelled/refunded if the date when set had been in-convenient. That said I was always going to attend but still ended-up queing with numerous other season ticket holders on Saturday morning; I accepted the hour wait as being of my own making.'"
here's a thought though, i am still not in reciept of my tickets for AUZ V NZ despite buying them online the day they came out!

Me neither, but I did get an email about them from Seetickets saying that they would arrive about two weeks before the match.

| Phoned late yesterday afternoon and a very helpful lady checked their "list" and told me that my tickets were okay and that I would get my refund.
Also emailed Ian at the club and got a reply this morning confirming that everything was sorted and he had been assured that the system glitch was sorted now.
So a big thanks to the folks behind the scenes for sorting things out.

| Got told today after the postie had been with no ticket that no tickets will be posted out u have to collect them !
When I went to the shop they told me they phoned everyone whom ordered tickets online for postage !
Strange no one phoned me minor cock up by the shop but couldn't give a toss got my ticket now so don't care !
Anyone hoping to get home today and find their ticket has been posted will be disappointed so if u read this go n collect it from the shop !

| According to the online site - only West stand tickets available....
Not sure if this takes into account their coc4-up with the multi ticket sales.

| So the general jist of this thread is pay on the gate is the way forward then? Glad you've all had a fun week queuing or risking bank charges. See you tomorrow with cash in my pocket.

Only works if :-
a) You dont want a seat
b) You dont want to go in the South stand
c) the club hasnt decided to make it ticket only on the turnstiles and you therefore have to queue up at the ticket window.
It was a hiccup, OK A BIG hiccup, but has been sorted. The club wont be the first business issuing tickets to be hit by such an issue. 3 years ago I had money for a holiday taken twice against my credit card. You think £400 is bad..................try £3000. The measure of the club is how quickly they sort it out and what they do about people who suffer financially because of it.

The correct way to complain - lay the down the facts of what has happened, and what ought to have happened instead. No insults, no "this is a joke and I want my money back", no "you are all incompetent [insert unsavoury word here]" statements, as those kind of things will (even though it is not intended to, as such) directly insult the person who whom you are directing your complaint and leave them feeling less sympathy for you. Not that it should matter, but it's human nature and you'll almost certainly always get a more positive response if you keep your cool when complaining.
