He won Wigan that game tonight, he was excellent.

He's quickly becoming their biggest threat, perhaps in a weird way only threat, so much goes through him.

Nar, Thomas Leuluai is a constant threat especially close to the line. Sam Tomkins is a great prospect, not only was he outstanding tonight he proved to a lot of people that he can take it as well as dishing it out, he certainly had the last laugh with Mitchell Sargent.

The thing i like about Tomkins in the main is his willigness to take on the line with a very good success rate of breaking through and making plenty of yards, his defence and work rate is also excellent, he will only get better as he has a lot more development left in him yet.

I meant from a creativity point of view.

I like Lockers alot, I think he's coming along nicely at thirteen.

With Leulaui & Riddell, basically not upto much with ball in hand from a creativity point of view, there best work is done on an individual basis, watching them, you do feel that so much emphasis is placed on Tomkins, to be that creative 'pivot', not too dissimilar to how we've operated Briers for like, a decade.

Riddell for me offers Wigan very little, if anything at all. They will be far better with McILorum and Leuluai as the hookers. If Wigan sign a high class stand off and put Tomkins in at 7 they will be some force in the half backs, Piggy Riddell is deffinatley a weak link.

I`m not sure about O`Loughlin, he has far too many quiet games from what ive seen of him, he does the odd good thing but it seems to be few and far between. He`s certainly no Hanley or Farrell, i think they need better at 13.
