Can someone explain to me, how a referee meeting the representatives of the team of a death-threatening supporter means that said team becomes the referees’ favourite?
Surely he’d lean towards their non death-threatening opponents if any kind of bias WAS floating around the back of his head?

| Warrington vs Saints has only had Hicks referee twice, and twice Warrington have won.
Just to wind the Saints fans and their conspiracy up more 
The matches were;
Oct 4th 2018 Warrington 18 - 13 St Helens
Aug 24th 2019 Warrington 18 - 4 St Helens
Both times it was 3 tries to 1 as well.
I don't know who is more nuts, Flat Earthers or Saints fans. |

But maybe McManus has achieved what he actually wanted, ensuring Hicks doesn’t ref any significant games they are involved in. Mind you they are complaining about Friday’s ref now, won’t be long before they run out of options.
