Don’t know why they bother banning Saints players.

I can see why Matty Lee's ban has been reduced. I was surprised at the time that Kendal decided to get in the middle of it as Lee's was running in and I suspect that is the mitigation. Very rare to see a match official step in. One that used to do it a lot was Tony Martin (touch judge from Oldham) and always makes me chuckle to see a match official that is 12 stone wet through get stuck in.

Well they’re right there does seem to be an anti Saints bias in the disciplinary

I know you’re being sarcastic and I’m not one of the ones that think they’re biased, but it’s not the disciplinary that deal with the appeals, it’s a completely independent panel that usually involves a lawyer and/or a judge

Christ, no wonder Saints are in so much debt.

As for the jolt to Drinkwater's neck by Lees , there wasn't a lot of force but damage can still be caused to the neck from rear pressure ,hence head restraints on cars.

I think you’ll find the appeal is part of the disciplinary process*

Not chaired by anyone that sits on the match review panel though. The MRPs bias or lack thereof wouldn’t have anything to do with the outcome of appeals

Reckon HKR will appeal

Devil or the deep blue sea. If they finish 2nd he will miss the semi, if frivolous could get 3 which means he would miss 1st match of next season.

It was a very reckless tackle & he could have caused more damage than he did. Deserves a ban & should be more than the accidental shoulder hits (by tall players) that always bring 3 matches ban.
