| So it’s a bit of a dilemma for Fridays game.
1 - Cas win easily and the board has no option but to take action
2 - Wire perform like they did against Saints and Price plays yet another ‘Get of of Jail/Challenge Cup win’ cards and gains another couple of months, at least.
3 - Battle with your own internal conflict - wanting Wire to win but want Price to go rather than lose and he goes.

Hull have suffered with the same business paralysis as Wire for a while. I wonder if they would considering replacing Radford with a ‘former NRL coach with a Honours winning Superleague resume who could be immediately available’
Hopefully......

Most likely, the board aren't going to sack Price even if we lose, so save yourself the inner torment.
Wire boards don't tend to take the initiative to remove coaches. The only time I can remember it happening was with Plange.
Cullen and Dorahy resigned. DVDV and TS both agreed with the board to call it a day at the end of the current season - although in DVDVs case he actually quit ahead of the scheduled date when we tried to bring in Neil Kelly while he was still there.
It would have been interesting to see what the board would have done if DVDV and TS had both been keen to stay for another season.

| I don’t think TS worst was anywhere near SP current.
Until we sign a prop who is ready to go in SL, they’ll be no chance we will be where SP thinks we are

| These days of Price are very similar to the Last Days of Smith. Are they 2 coaches who lost the plot & became or already were failing in their jobs or is there another force from within the club that works against what it doesn't agree with ?

| It would be better for the club in the mid to long term if they grasp the nettle now. But I'm hearing stories that the problem is not just Price (he just hasn't got the skills to resolve it).
1. Prima donna, over paid and under delivering players such as Hill (who I see now is having a go at fans and comparing himself to Caroline Flack in the media)
2. Division in the squad.
3. Discord in the junior setup with Bastion.
It's a right mess.

Price isn't a tenth of the quality of Smith but I am getting a feeling that there are other larger problems within the club.
I wonder who/what overlapped with the last few years of Smith and continues to this day.

Lowes was effectively sacked in 2009. He only lost 3 games on the bounce.

| Well i suppose we have one or two who are still at the club from Smith's days ,rather like Miss Scarlett in the library with the spanner. Thinking back though Smith's descent into disillusionment with the game was very dramatic & you have to wonder ,did he fall or was he pushed ?
