When the fool lit the flare, instead of dealing with him, one of the stewards just scurried-off to find the police officers to pass the buck to them.

All disgraceful, and flares at games are pathetic, and it's usually older guys who have never grown up.
Why would it even enter your mind to even take one in the first place, so sad.

To be fair they aren't flares, they are just smoke bombs which are fairly harmless. I'm not condoning them but flares burn hot and are very different to a smoke bomb.

We do seem to attract a particularly scummy chavvy element. It's built up the more tasteless chants that have now crept in, I'm no boy scout but sitting down in the south stand it was all a bit embarrassing to witness. All the chants of "you're sh it" is just juvenile and comes across badly on TV. Sadly big games, great weather and mid afternoon kick offs just adds to the mickeyed up yobs who don't even watch the match.

Also why did they close the bars five minutes into the second half? At least in the south they did. Mickey poor from the vape station.

The ‘industrial language’ chanting has been part and parcel of our support base for as long as I can remember. It isn’t a new phenomenon.

I've been known, on occasion, to let a Jake Connor or a Jack Welsby know that I wouldn't invite them to my birthday party, or even to wave my best regards to a departing Saints fan or two, but the fella behind me jumping on my back calling Moore a "F###### t###" all afternoon went a bit further than I felt comfortable with. I get that it is a way to let off steam but I wouldn't have taken my six year old.

We still not as bad as football for language, some of the stuff you can hear from what the microphones pick up make rugby fan’s saintly in comparison. The thing is it is creeping more and more into our sport, I find it rather sad. I have no issue with asking the ref as he forgot his glasses etc but some stuff is way over the mark these days. No it’s not about being over sensitive or keeping the woke people whining just some things should not be said.

I swore alot over the last 2 seasons. Didn't boo though. Didn't clap them off either for most of it.

Dunno where that puts me on the naughty list but I couldn't help the "Oh FFS" coming out on a near metronomic frequency in 22 and 23.
