In preseason my reaction would be pfftt!! I wasn't previously impressed with him, but he's started really well much better than I'd have thought.

I agree with others a 'swap' for a decent Centre or Second Row works for me as we'll be better balanced IMO

He's been great this season but lets face it, he was always going to go back home sometime and with the abundance of props we currently have, I don't think it's going to be that much of an issue.

Vaughan, Dudson, Kasiano, Harrison, Bullock, McGuire and Philbin is still a monster pack. I'd like us to put the free cap space into signing a centre and if we do I think we will have a really exciting team.

BIG mistake letting him go straight away. We've got Bullock and Harrison still out injured with no time given (that i know of) for Harrison. So we'll be 3 props down so doesn't make sense. If we said yes you can go in 3-4 weeks that would be better. Disappointed to see him go but if his family want to go home it's a hard place to be in.
I hope we don't bring this Herbert in as with him being 2 months away from recovery from his ACL injury it makes no sense, especially with Wrench back soon. Hopefully he is off to Catalans like rumoured.
Only positive with Mikaele going is the cap space and quota spot, but i hope he's here for the next 2-3 games at least.

McGuire isn't back this week, I'd rather have Mikaele until Bullock and Harrison are back. Like i literally said in my post.

So we have a few queries this week with fitness of Clark & Drinkwater an issue. No Kasiano. Bugger.

Well you can't have that. He agreed to stay until McGuire is back and Saturday will be his last game unfortunately. I think it's a pretty big loss unless we sign a strong running second row to replace him. We'll miss him crashing onto balls 20 yards out which has become a very good weapon to have.

Shame he has to go at all, but if he does we should have insisted he stayed at least until end of April given current injuries and run of tough fixtures coming up.
