Agree with the leadership thing. When Wigan scored their first last night, Holmes (who missed the tackle on French) who had chased down in the corner got up head in hands and looked at the fans, almost to sense the reaction.

A good leader would have got him under the wing and had a chat with him, instead he was left to shake his head at himself and to dwell on it.

Agree too, there's no one at all for anyone to look up to.

On the leadership thing, this has been a steady decline since around 2013/14 when we had an exodus of senior players and leaders. Looking back now with hindsight at the end of the Tony Smith era, we had players like Kurt Gidley and Ashton Sims, who weren't everybody's cup of tea on here but they were at least trying to give some sense of direction and leadership to the rest. Through the Price era we became increasingly leaderless.
