| From speaking to some Wigan fans I would suggest that he has not really achieved his full potential yet but what that is realistically who knows. Now, as a Wire, I wish him well.

| Bullock, in the interview with the Warrington Guardian, says re Hill “Making sure his absence isn’t felt is up to me, the other props that are already here and any players who may come in.”
I may be clutching as straws, but that suggests that there could be another on the way.

| Obviously I’m not privy to the clubs finances but as a casual observer I’d say that so far salary wise we have;
Williams for Ashton, direct swap of marquee spot
Minikin for Mamo
Mata’utia for Lineham (Mata’utia maybe on higher salary due to shortage of centres available?)
Harrison for Akauola
Which leaves us with Hill, Inglis plus whatever cap space we had left from last year to cover Holmes and any increases in new contracts (such as King and Ashton). Whatever is left over could go towards another prop, but I don’t think that would cover a direct replacement for Hill.
Edit - Missed out Bullock, so there's another chunk gone.

| Also, we didn't directly replace Murdock Massila last year who'd have been on a few quid. Looks like Steve Bruce will be available with the takeover of Newcastle Utd, he'd probably do well at prop.

| Supposedly about to announce Jason Clark on another 1 year deal, and i think unless Doro makes a step up we will see Clark play at prop a fair few times.
If Butler gets his fitness back and powell spends some time with him, we'll be ok. He's a good prop who i was really excited to see play. But he never really got a chance under price.
So glad we don't have to put up with players out of position, and being left on the bench, or given 10 min spells anymore. I'm so happy we've finally moved past Price and can't wait to see the next 3 years under Powell

| It's just a real pity that Harrison has picked up an ACL injury. I'm sure that he's a long way from being the finished article but he does look as though he has potential. Hopefully players such as Butler can benefit from the return of reserve grade fixtures.

I agree on Butler - not sure what happened this season as he was impressive at London and I thought was a good signing. Had hopes he’d be a Hill type signing from the Championship.
Hopefully - he’ll be like a new signing next season.

I suspect most loanees couldn’t come back to accommodate the Williams Salary Cap issue (who knew we abide by such a thing?).

Of that era only Hill and then the return of Cooper for Sims, survived.
Utter terrible recruitment, however the CEO is an untouchable.
