Danny Walker to miss out. Need some size out on the pitch in the middle and Davis can do a good job at DH if needed.
Saints were putting all their emphasis on going down the middle Vs Salford. They were defending extremely tight, their wingers defending on the 20m cross for the vast majority. If we're going to beat Saints we'll have to move them around the park and get them on the edges. This is the sort of game where we need to let the ball do the work for us.

I can't see us winning this one, then again we very rarely beat saints at home. If we can keep 13 on the pitch we have a chance. We should keep our indiscipline to eye gouging, there is no punishment for that.

I'd say it's a 50:50. We're without Coote, Makinson and Roby. You're missing Widdop and Hill.
I'd say we're a better side, but we're missing an extra player and you're at home so that balances things well.
There's going to be 3,000 from St Helens there, presume the game will be close to selling out which would be good for a Thursday game. |

Saints are at peak minus long term injured. They've had to peak for the world club challenge....we rarely if ever beaten a team in it, ahead of the game from memory.
So history tells us a Saints win....if Wire win Thurs...Wire will win every piece of silverware on offer.

It's not an excuse, we're perfectly capable of beating Warrington with 6 or 7 missing if we play well. You're also capable of beating us if we were full strength if we don't.
