Another one of those plucky defeats I've had to endure.

Not fair. Hill just going for the ball and all try saving tackle. These things happen. Cooper prevented a certain try.

So much to be encouraged by. Some great offloading. Just some poor decision making at key times.

Officiating shocking. So much diving at the play the ball. Needs stamping out urgently. Much worse than last season already.

How was French MoM?

Currie is shot. BMM has to play in the second row and let Hughes and currie fight it out for the other spot.

Plenty of positives, plenty of offloads, fitness and desire outstanding and lots of good individual efforts. Alas, nil points.

Wigan know they've dodged a 12 man bullett there, and they should be the.more worried of the two teams.

Sky must have been watching a different game to me because I thought Wigan should be embarrassed by that result. Never mind talking about Wigan character. 50 minutes against 12 men and 10 against 11. We might not have won but my god you couldn't have asked for more.

Gutsy performance by the Wire and we look to have a potential superstar in Ashton.

Need to cut out stupid ball steals and the crossfield kick to king move is wearing a bit thin.

Plenty of heart and the BMM try barging Burgess over was a belter.

Good performances from a number of our players - Ashton, King, BMM and Jason Clark to name a few.
But as has been said above, still a loss.

A lot more to come from Wigan though.

First game so can't read a massive amount into it but we do look very fit.

Left edge creativity is a bit lacking and i get fed up of trapping the opposition in to try an win a penalty. But a good performance against the odds. Take that spirit into the other games and we'll be ok.
