Reminds me of that Challenge Cup semi where Wigan drew Catalans and the pie-eating RFL tried to rig it as a home game for Wigan by playing it at the HJ.

It was amazing how many Catalans fans turned up that day, the RFL had underestimated the size of the Catalans community in Warrington.

Thousands came by bike down Orford Lane, wearing berets, Breton jumpers with strings of garlic and onions round their necks, whistling Sasha Distell songs.
Vive la France, that day.
