| Quote rubber duckie="rubber duckie"You came on trying to vail a put down in a congratulations.
It wasn’t and ultra basic performance by any sort. The Wire pack size and numbers across the pitch smashed the hell out of Saints pack and Warmsley was gasping ten min in to the game.
The saints pack was smashed period.'"

Okay. 3 tries to 1 is hardly 60 point drubbing and there was 8 points in it with 3 minutes or so to go. Walmsley hasn't played in a month but I'll bet his stats are around his usual.
But in the spirit of goodwill you can have this one.
You can officially put on record that you marmelised us.

| Can't see what all the fuss is about the disallowed try. His fingertips seemed to be on the side of the ball, no downward pressure. A bit iffy but not a definite try.

| While I may be biased, I think there may be a point regarding the forwards. Clark seemed to run more often and with greater impact than Roby (or Grace, who is excellent from dummy half) and that is an effective barometer.
When Saints have dominated us, Walmsley and company generally make dents in the line and Roby darts out with lots of support, which just gathers momentum. Very little of that today though.

| I don't know where the controversy is around the Knowles no try, even he didn't claim it.
We were amazing today, we made every ankle tap, every one-on-one, even though we were under the cosh for long periods and not making as many metres. But time and time again, as Saddened says, Patton found the grass with the kicks and got the ball far enough downfield to keep them at bay.

| Quote Fourpointtry="Fourpointtry"Just seen the Knowles 'try' at full speed. Never has downward pressure, no try. Hicks made the right call.
Slow motion can be deceptive.'"
There are 3 fingers on the top of the ball with it touching the ground. If that goes up its given, they always are in that instance. Far more dodgy ones have been given this season. Hicks just got it wrong, I think they got the decision for Percival's wrong too. I can take the video ref not overruling Taia knocking on, it's a 50:50 and they are sometimes given as a strip, but it should have been Saints feed at the scrum, the first infringement is the touch onto Taia by a Warrington hand. Thaler just seems to miss that because he's focusing on the strip that happened afterwards.
But perhaps you'd have just caramelised us instead of marmelising us if it was given correctly.

| Well played Warrie
Deserved it with that performance , it is not how you play it is about winning and you put in a game plan that worked perfectly.

| The Knowles "no try" should have been sent to the video ref as a no try if Hicks felt it was no try. And I couldn't believe that he didn't. The Tom Lineham no try should have been sent up as a try if Hicks saw the ball touched down. The commentators said they were the two worst decision they had seen, and I agree. Despite all that we were magnificent sticking to the game plan and coming up trump. Coote had one of those days which will haunt him for a long time.

| Saints made a lot of yards against us & defence helped to win that game. The back room boys came up with a plan that worked & our greatly weakened go forward did the rest.
