Three matches in and half a dozen training sessions under his belt and we’re already packing him back to Australia, ala Monaghan and King.

He’s been average at best and may well not turn out to be the answer to our half back issues, but how about we give him a chance?

I’ve had a hernia for the past 5mths + in that time only been the gym about a dozen times but bet I’ve put more effort in than he has from what I’ve seen.

We're not sending him back, a la king and Monaghan. Monaghan won a few MoMs in his first few games (@ no 7 may I add) and King looked sharpish.

The trouble is, we've seen sod all from Roberts. Nothing more than you could get from Crosfield's current number 7, but we're paying a King's ransom for the "privilege".

The 7 at Crosfields is okay.

He’s got a long way to go before I judge him. He had no pre-season, he’s not got into his rhtythm with the plays or the team yet, he’s not fit yet and even if he had all those things in place it’s still be too early to judge.

I’m with you on this. I’m confident we are going to come good with Roberts at 7 once he’s fit. The conditions were unreal last night with a wind-chill of -10 or something and he’s never experienced anything like that before, especially whilst unfit and in a team that hasn’t clicked.

Let’s see what happens by the split. I’ve seen enough to know we won’t be easy beats this season and when we eventually click we will be a good team. Whether we do anything of significance this year is debatable, but I do believe we will one of the top teams next year.

Two tries apiece at Hull last night, playing away to a team that everyone believes will be a top team this year. We didn’t play well in attack yet we didn’t get out-scored. We WILL get better.

This team will struggle to make the 8’s this season.Predictable in attack as evidenced by our points average,boring to watch with 5 drives + then kick,to many individuals not upto SL standard + a half back partnership that must be the worst in the league at the moment.It’s Going be a long road back to the top.
