I thought maybe we have players who are out of contract & just going through the motions to get a result in our favour without knowing what the future holds for them. Minimal effort to get the job done.Still, i saw Sims do a hand off which is another one to cross off the bucket list. Halifax ,i thought, could have even been in the lead at half time if they hadn't let so many passes go to ground.

Dreadful, but a big well done to Halifax, gave it a real go the scoreline actually flattered us. Were we complacent after last week or was last week's decent ish win a blip?

The first half was dreadful and the second not much better. I experienced the most worry thing for me tho, fans who don't want you venting your anger. I wasn't abusive and didn't use offensive language, i merely asked the players if they wanted the game and the amount of disapproving looks i got was mind boggling. Follow that by clapping them off at half time and I'm done. I think the "family stadium" is there to stop any negativity, i don't think I'll bother next year, maybe I'm just an old fart stuck in the stone age, but if all i can do is clap, I'd rather shout at the tv.

Well, this really is a forum of doom and gloom. In stark contrast, I thought we played ok bearing in mind that this was Halifax's biggest game of the season. We on the other hand were on a hiding to nothing.

Looking at all the above comments I guess you were spoiled by a magnificent performance against the top notch Catalans team, I'm sure the way they are playing today was nothing like how they played against you.
Today the ref was poor but you had more penalties but still didn't do much with them, a nod to the Fax defence would have been reasonable, yes it was one of our biggest games but the last four in the league were far more important.

Halifax's running lines and organisation in attack was so much better than ours. We looked flat and devoid of any creativity to challenge their defensive line. If this was a one off, then ok, but it has typified our season and today a side with a fraction of the investment of ours showed us how to do it.

What is it with some people? I give my opinion of the game and all I receive back are personal insults. This is getting like Trumps America.

Our fitness just pushed that scoreline up in the end, they were better than us at times and we looked like we were going through the motions at times
