I think the problem is the fact that if you look at the squad we had at the start of the year, you would have said that there was no chance whatsoever that we would have fallen into the bottom 4 - but we did. Now looking at the games in the new division you could say that there is no chance of us losing to sides like Widnes and Cats at home, unfortunately you only need some bad refereeing decisions, or bad luck, or nerves, or a critical injury, or Widnes / Catalans playing out of their skins, to lose these sorts of matches. Then team confidence falls and anything can happen.

One of the problems is the Middle 4's competition is designed purely to pull in more spectators. In doing so it risks a club finishing 9th actually dropping into the Championship. Now you could say that will never happen, Wire are far to good to go down. Unfortunately we saw with the old format Leeds finishing only 5th in the league but winning the GF - again, it shouldn't have happened. But in trying to get more spectators (by making the playoffs include most of the teams in the league), the RFL risked it happening, and we all know the outcome - they had to scrap that format and try this new one instead.

Anything less than 100% effort & 100% attitude will not be good enough.

There are some experienced old stagers in these championship clubs who could pull a win out of the bag.

The international break was the first thing to cross my mind aswel. Unless you stay over. Rubbish.

Out of those 7 games with those days and times, I can make 2 possibly 3 of them.
I've actually surprised myself as I'm not actually that bothered..! Not like me at all..
I do feel sorry with those involved in amateur RL who have been completely alienated with the Saturday games... But hey at least the pi$$ heads are happy !

As one of the 'pi$$ heads' you mention....correct. I like a Saturday afternoon game. However, i agree that it isn't fair on a lot of speccies that have involvement with Amateur clubs.

To repeat an earlier post though. That K.O time in London is an absolute shocker!!

In terms of the 8's themselves, if we were to struggle it will be nothing more than we deserve after some of the shocking displays this year. However, personally, i would be very surprised if we do not win at the very least 5 out of the 7 upcoming fixtures.

Being in the middle 8s is embarrassing considering Wire fans were saying back in Feb it was going to be your year to be Super League champions.

I mean, even just over a month ago a poster on here called rubber duckie said he was 'confident' Wire were going to win both the Challenge Cup and Grand Final.

Still, Wire should have enough quality to stay up. Should.

Visiting London Broncos is a messy business these days so, since I live in West London, I thought it might be useful if I suggested a way to get there.

Firstly perhaps not everyone knows that they have moved since they used to play at The Stoop in Twickenham. They now play at the Trailfinders Sports Club in Ealing. It's not, however, particularly near the middle of Ealing. If you are driving down your Sat Nav will no doubt get you there easily enough but if you are coming down on the train here's my advice.

You will get in to Euston Station and should take the Victoria Line south to Oxford Circus where you should change to the Central Line and go west all the way to Ealing Broadway. The cheapest way to travel on the underground is to use contactless at the barrier.

When you come out of the Ealing Broadway station there are many bus stops spread around in different directions and of course you need to go to the right one. There are different options but to keep it simple cross the road and go up the left side of the road opposite which is called Haven Green and go to bus stop E. There is a red disk on the top of the bus stop with the (in this case E) in white. Catch the E2 bus or the E9 bus and get off at Scotch Common. The buses have electronic boards letting you know what the next stop is.

At Scotch Common walk back a few yards and turn right onto Vallis Way which will take you to the ground. If you want a drink or something to eat turn left instead and walk down Scotch Common to the pub.

Of course there are other ways to do it but I hope this helps. It must be tempting I suppose to stay at home and watch it on TV.

Possibly the problem. Too much wealth can buy who we want, individual quality but don't play as a team like Cas, Wakey
